Express Lane

Barbershop Quartet

Do you want to put a smile on everyone's face at your next event or function?  Then take the fast track to good old-fashioned barbershop harmony and invite Express Lane to provide your entertainment.

As a barbershop quartet based in the Greater Boston, Massachusetts area, and a member of The Barbershop Harmony Society, we sing old and new songs in the traditional barbershop style.  Jim provides the foundation as bass, Doug fills in the middle as baritone, Rob carries the melody as lead, and Skip adds the sparkle as tenor.  Together, we are Express Lane (more About Us).

Watch us perform 'Hi Neighbor', 'After You've Gone', 'I Can't Give You Anything But Love', 'Smile', and 'I'm Gonna Live Till I Die' at the Brookline Library Community Open Mic in February 2017.

We placed second at the 'Seniors That Rock' talent show in September 2016. Watch us perform 'What'll I Do', 'I'm Gonna Live Till I Die', and 'Smile'.

Here's a brief interview with us at the audition for that talent show. (Video produced by Larry Seaman of Salem Community Television (SCTV17))

See us at the 1st inaugural 'Brookline Porchfest' in June 2016.
